aoloa-Engineering GmbH signs Charta der Vielfalt

Magstadt, 27.02.2020 - aoloa-Engineering GmbH signs the Charta der Vielfalt visibly advocates an appreciative and unprejudiced working environment.

The Charter of Diversity is an initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions under the patronage of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

By signing the Charta of Diversity, aoloa-Engineering GmbH is sending a clear signal for diversity and tolerance in the working environment and signals the appreciation of all employees regardless of their gender and gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity.

"Our working world is constantly changing," says Okan Altay, managing director at aoloa-Engineering. "Our commitment to diversity enables us to adapt to social and economic changes such as globalization, demographic change and declining employment. By signing the Diversity Charter, we are now clearly positioning ourselves towards our employees, our customers and our business partners".

"Commitment to and use of diversity is more important today than ever. After all, our society today is more diverse and differentiated than ever before. In order to use this potential, we must stand up for an appreciative way of dealing with each other - contrary to some voices from politics and society", says Aletta Gräfin von Hardenberg, Managing Director of Charta der Vielfalt e.V. "This also applies in the world of work. By signing the Charter of Diversity, organizations clearly show that they are promoting diversity in the world of work, thus paving the way for innovative solutions and more productive approaches".

Diversity management is a cross-cutting issue. The idea behind it: An organizational culture in which diversity is lived as a matter of course leads to all employees contributing their potential in the best possible way. It also promotes the diversity of ideas or products for which the organization stands.

More and more companies and institutions are seeing these benefits: around 3,400 corporations, companies, public institutions, clubs, foundations and associations have now signed the Diversity Charter. Around 13.3 million employees benefit from it.
